Handels Messiah with its libretto by Jennen is a spiritual masterpiece. A most inspiring beautiful mosaic of Jesus, starting with the messianic foreknowledge of his life and mission by the prophet Isaiah and ending with the return of Jesus still in the future. The Messiah has become part of our Family Christmas tradition since 1976. The libretto is fully based on scripture, comprising mainly prophetic passages from the Old testament.
